Medium is my second home now

Medium is an online publishing platform developed by Evan Williams, co-founder of Blogger and Twitter. It is social journalism at its best; a hybrid of the professional stuff by well-known contributors (Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris and fashion model and TV personality Chrissy Teigan, to name a few), but it's mostly reader-submitted content. A community of writers, poets, psychologists, thought-leaders, dating experts, engineers, and more.

I joined Medium in April, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, as a way to channel my thoughts and to see what other writers, whether amateur or professional, were writing. There was too much rhetoric with major publications. And Medium is about the content, no ads.

Although I joined in April, I didn't post my first article on Medium until August 13th. I just couldn't find my thoughts or balance to post here and there. Now, I'm back on track.

You can find new content that I've written since August on my Medium page. I've written about teacher work-life balance, onboarding at a new job during a pandemic, dreams, wanderlust, and one piece that's very dear to me: it's dedicated to my father, which I wrote in September, during World Alzheimer's Month. Over the coming weeks, I'll be posting more content on Medium about travel, education, health, and wellness; topics that I'm truly passionate about. So join me there!
