Permission (Poetry)

your name upon my lips makes my heart smile

and smiling is all i want to do when i think of you

so, can i have your permission to be in your system?

to be in you system is where i need to be

to have a place in your heart is the Universe calling

to cradle your joys and heal your pain

it's not a stretch for me

because i have healed my own

come with me to this land of milk and honey

you never have to wonder: "does she love me?"

because the answers are written before you speak...

like honey and chocolate
